Dawn Austin is an attorney in private practice in Anchorage, Alaska. Her practice includes personal injury, criminal defense, and immigration matters.
Ms. Austin was an Assistant Public Defender for the state of Alaska. She represented clients from Bethel and several surrounding villages (e.g. Chevak, Hooper Bay, Scammon Bay, etc…). The cases she defended included DWIs, drug and alcohol cases, assaults, poaching of moose and musk oxen, etc… She also has civil litigation experience on both the plaintiff and defense sides in areas that include personal injury, construction litigation, and pharmaceutical defense.
Ms. Austin graduated from the Tulane Law School in 2000. She also holds a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Maryland. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Alaska. She is also a member of the ABA, the AAJ, and Mensa.
