Arthur Ara Cormier was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and grew up in Plaquemines Parish. Mr. Cormier received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Louisiana State University Medical Center, graduating cum laude in 1996 and a Juris Doctor with a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2007. In law school, Mr. Cormier was selected to the Chancellor’s List for 2006-2007. He was inducted into the Louisiana Bar in 2007 and is currently a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association as well as being a licensed physical therapist.

Prior to joining Scheuermann and Jones, LLC this year, Mr. Cormier served as law clerk for the 25th Judicial District Court, Division A, gaining valuable insight into the other side of the Bench through researching and writing opinions on cases. Mr. Cormier will use this insight to develop your claim, argue your case, and work to maximize your recovery.

A licensed Physical Therapist who practiced for 8 years prior to attending law school, Mr. Cormier has in-depth experience of the health care field and the rehabilitative journey that many personal injury clients encounter. Mr. Cormier uses that experience to assist clients through both their personal and legal recovery.
